The Iron Triangle, also known as the Project Triangle, is a model used in project management to represent the trade-offs between three key factors: cost, schedule, and scope. The triangle is called "Iron" because it suggests that these three factors are fixed and immutable, and that changes to one will have an impact on the others. The three factors of the Iron Triangle are: Cost : The amount of money or resources that will be required to complete the project. Schedule : The length of time it will take to complete the project. Scope : The specific goals, deliverables, and features of the project.  In traditional project management, the belief is that these three factors are fixed and that trade-offs must be made between them.
